Job Summary A dependable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative is needed for a temp-to-hire opportunity with an established manufacturing company in Oxnard, CA. Key Responsibilities Manage high-volume customer inquiries by phone and email while providing timely, accurate, and professional responses. Prepare customer quotes, process orders, coordinate order changes, and track orders through completion. Maintain assigned customer accounts and build strong professional relationships with business customers. Enter and update customer information, orders, and documentation using CRM, ERP, or comparable order-management systems. Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, customer concerns, and service issues with sound judgment and appropriate follow-through. Coordinate with internal departments regarding product availability, delivery timelines, order changes, and customer requirements. Compensation and Benefits Pay: $25 to $27 per hour. Required Qualifications and Skills Manage B2B customer accounts in an order-driven business environment. Prepare quotes, process orders, coordinate changes, and follow orders through completion. Communicate with customers and internal departments to resolve order issues and provide status updates. Maintain accurate order documentation using CRM, ERP, or comparable order-processing systems. 3 to 4 years of directly relevant customer service, customer support, or order-management experience. B2B customer service experience in manufacturing, distribution, promotional products, or a similar order-driven environment. Hands-on experience preparing quotes, processing orders, managing order changes, and tracking orders through completion. Experience using CRM, ERP, or comparable customer account or order-management systems. Ability to independently manage customer accounts, resolve issues, coordinate with internal teams, and balance competing priorities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to compose clear and professional customer emails. Excellent attention to detail, organization, problem-solving ability, sound judgment, and follow-through. Demonstrated reliability, consistent attendance, accountability, and professionalism. Working proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to successfully complete required skills assessments, including typing at least 45 words per minute with 95% accuracy, grammar and spelling, data entry, Microsoft Office proficiency, and professional email writing. Preferred Qualifications Experience in B2B customer service or order management within manufacturing, distribution, promotional products, or a similar industry. Experience supporting a designated customer base and coordinating orders across multiple internal departments. Familiarity with high-volume order processing, customer account management, and order-related problem resolution. Promotional products industry experience is helpful but not required.
