What You'll Do

  • Manage a caseload of diverse patient cases, including spinal cord injuries, TBIs, strokes, amputees, and complex trauma patients
  • Provide outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, neuro-specific diagnoses, and spinal care
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Use EMR systems such as EPIC, Wellsky, and Meditech Expanse for documentation
  • Assist in inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and skilled nursing settings
  • Maintain compliance with department and hospital protocols
  • Attend departmental and hospital orientations, completing full case load onboarding within the first week

What You Need

  • Required:
    • Current Louisiana Physical Therapist license
    • BLS certification
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience
    • Ability to work independently and support a multidisciplinary team
    • Experience with inpatient rehab, outpatient, and skilled nursing patient populations
  • Preferred:
    • Certification in ACLS, NIHSS, or specialized areas
    • Experience with EMR systems like EPIC, Wellsky, Meditech Expanse

About the Assignment This assignment is with a leading healthcare facility in Shreveport, LA, providing inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services. The role involves managing a diverse patient caseload across various clinical settings, contributing to patient recovery and rehabilitation efforts. You will be supported by a dedicated team, including supervisors, assistant directors, and peers, in a collaborative work environment focused on excellence in patient care.
