What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting information through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and public areas verify access permissions when required and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or operational needs.
• Support day-to-day operations by following post orders maintaining a visible presence and assisting with crowd management directional support and/or response coordination during unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
