Sales & Applications Engineer

Location: Cranberry Twp, PA Type: Direct-Hire Compensation: $60,000.00-70,000.00 Work Model: Onsite – onsite Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support by responding to customer inquiries
• Build and maintain customer relationships via phone, email, and on-site visits
• Perform application testing and evaluation
• Help customers select the right products for their needs
• Develop technical solutions tailored to customer requirements
• Prepare quotes and proposals
• Follow up with customers after proposals and solution delivery

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing; automation industry background is a plus
• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
• Working knowledge of PLC-based controls, electrical systems, and pneumatic systems, including reading schematics
• Hands-on experience with toolroom measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, depth gauges) is preferred
• Familiarity with manual lathes, mills, and surface grinders is preferred
• Proficient with standard office software, such as Microsoft Office
• Experience with CAD software is preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 20% annually
