Make an impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school setting near South Portland, ME. This part-time contract position offers an engaging opportunity to provide expertise in applied behavior analysis, working collaboratively with educators and school staff to help students reach their fullest potential. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Prior experience working in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of functional behavior assessment and intervention
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to guide intervention planning
- Design and implement evidence-based behavioral interventions for individual students or groups
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster positive student outcomes
- Provide ongoing training, modeling, and consultation to school personnel
- Actively monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to maximize student success
- Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices
