Job Title Neurology Physician – Independent Practice Physician (Ownership Model, Not Employed) Overview This position is for physicians interested in establishing or transitioning into an independently operated medical practice supported by MedCBO’s administrative infrastructure. Physicians own and operate their own practice entity while MedCBO provides non‑clinical business and operational support services. The role is not an employment arrangement; physicians maintain full clinical authority and decision‑making. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the specialty scope of neurology. Develop professional relationships within the medical community. Determine clinical services offered and manage clinical quality and patient experience. Coordinate payer credentialing with physician participation as required. Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination. Billing and collections management. Payer contract negotiation. Financial infrastructure and reporting. Operational workflows and staffing systems. Technology platform and implementation. Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support. EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems. Credentialing, enrollments, and facility privileging coordination. Accounting, financial reporting, and practice financial infrastructure. HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support. Supply chain and vendor coordination. Requirements MD or DO with unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice. Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services provided. Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable. Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates. No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice. Interest in the independent practice model. Preferred Desire for practice ownership. Community‑based care interest. Leadership or program development interest. Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is derived from the physician‑owned practice and is not a guaranteed salary.
