Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist Trainee in Burlington, NC to perform routine and complex laboratory testing procedures, operate instrumentation, and ensure specimen acceptability. Full training provided; new graduates welcome. Tuesday–Saturday, 12:30 a.m.–9:00 a.m.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established quality criteria
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
- Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation for proper function
- Conduct preventative maintenance and quality control documentation
- Report accurate and timely test results to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Science, Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
- ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
- 3+ months clinical laboratory testing experience (preferred)
- Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
- High attention to detail and strong communication skills
