What You Will Do

As a Handyman/Carpenter, you will complete small to medium-sized home repairs, remodeling projects, maintenance work, and property improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Completing carpentry, drywall, painting, trim, door, flooring, and general home repair projects
• Performing small remodeling and home improvement projects
• Reviewing each job with the customer and clearly explaining the planned work
• Communicating professionally with customers throughout the project
• Providing accurate information regarding the scope of work and approved pricing
• Using materials efficiently and maintaining necessary tools and supplies
• Keeping the company vehicle, tools, and equipment clean and in good working condition
• Collecting payments or payment information after work is completed
• Completing invoices, job notes, route sheets, photos, and required reports
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Protecting the customer's home and cleaning the work area before leaving
• Assisting with related duties and cross-training when needed

The ideal candidate is an experienced professional who can confidently complete a wide range of home repair and remodeling projects while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Extensive experience in home maintenance, repair, carpentry, or remodeling
• A strong carpentry background
• Experience completing multiple types of residential repair projects
• The ability to evaluate a project and determine the best repair solution
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A dependable, professional, and self-motivated attitude
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• The ability to work in a fast-moving environment
• Personal tools appropriate for a variety of job types
• The ability to use tablets, mobile applications, and digital job-management systems
• A valid driver's license and dependable driving record
• The ability to pass applicable background and employment requirements

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
