PRN/ON-CALL PHARMACIST | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Hudson WI 54016 - 100% on-site
• Payrate: $64.27/hr
• On Call rate : $75 per diem and $75 per dispensing call
• Required Availability: As needed | Approximately 2 scheduled weekend shifts per month (4-week rotation) + 3-4 on-call evenings per week
• PTO coverage as needed | Weekday shifts: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM + Weekend shifts: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• On-call coverage | Weekdays: 6:00 PM - 10:00 AM + Weekends: 4:00 PM - 12:00 PM

PRN/ON-CALL PHARMACIST | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:


The PRN/On-Call Pharmacist will provide weekend, evening, and after-hours pharmacy coverage. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys working independently while ensuring patients receive timely, accurate medication services outside of standard business hours. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care in a collaborative healthcare environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

PRN/ON-CALL PHARMACIST | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Provide medication counseling, including dosage, administration, side effects, storage, and drug interactions.
• Monitor patient medication therapy and identify potential drug-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
• Compound non-sterile medications as needed and prepare sterile products when required.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory and maintain pharmacy compliance standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Respond to urgent medication needs during after-hours and on-call coverage.

PRN/ON-CALL PHARMACIST | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Active, unrestricted Wisconsin Pharmacist license.
• Ability to work on-site.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding preferred.
• Previous on-call, overnight, or after-hours pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining exceptional patient care.
