RN Clinical Nurse

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team on a specialized Oncology Unit. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, coordinating care, and ensuring individualized treatment plans that respect cultural diversity. The role involves partnering with patients and families, practicing evidence-based care, and maintaining compliance with professional standards and organizational policies.

Key Duties

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using critical thinking and evidence-based practices.
• Deliver relationship-based, culturally competent care tailored to patient populations.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members through effective communication and documentation.
• Support performance improvement initiatives, research, and shared governance activities.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote workforce development.
• Participate in protocol development and resource utilization to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Current nursing license (RN), BLS certification, and any additional required certifications.
• Less than one year of clinical experience; direct patient care experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
• Proficiency with technology and critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.
