Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Your commitment begins with a comprehensive orientation on August 3rd, ensuring a smooth start as students return on August 11th. You’ll work through the academic year until May 28th, 2027, providing consistency and expertise to those who need it most.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Illinois license as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Professional Educator License (PEL) from Illinois—or eligibility to obtain
• CCC or CFY candidates are welcome
• Experience or interest in working within school settings, especially with pediatric or early childhood populations
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy to assigned caseload
• Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
• Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and caregivers to support student success
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student growth and participation
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to school-based therapy
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team initiatives
