Property Management Auditor


Position Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Auditor to support our Property Management Department. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong analytical and administrative skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with Property Managers, support staff, vendors, and other internal departments.


Key Responsibilities


Conduct daily audits of invoices, requisitions, appliance repair requests, and related documentation.


Review and verify vendor insurance certificates for compliance with company requirements.


Audit property management transactions for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and procedures.


Ensure proper approvals and supporting documentation are in place before processing.


Identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information and follow up with appropriate personnel for resolution.


Maintain accurate records and audit reports.


Communicate effectively with Property Managers, maintenance personnel, vendors, and administrative staff regarding audit findings and documentation requirements.


Assist with process improvements and recommend efficiencies within the Property Management Department.


Support special projects and additional administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:


Qualifications


Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, auditing, accounting, administrative support, or a related field.


Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.


Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.


Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.


Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach.


Experience reviewing invoices, vendor contracts, insurance certificates, or property management documentation is preferred.

Preferred Skills


Knowledge of property management operations and procedures.


Familiarity with accounts payable processes and vendor management.


Experience working with property management software systems is a plus.

Compensation


Salary commensurate with experience. Comprehensive benefits package available for eligible employees. $60,000-$70,000
