Customer Account Manager

Bastionpoint Technology is a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) serving businesses throughout the Richmond area. We're looking for a Customer Account Manager who enjoys building relationships, understanding customer needs, solving problems, and making sure clients feel supported.

You'll become a trusted partner to your clients while working closely with our technical team to ensure their needs are handled from start to finish.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned business clients
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Learn each client's business, technology environment, and needs
• Coordinate with the technical team and follow up on open items
• Communicate with customers about projects, service requests, and ongoing needs
• Participate in customer meetings and account reviews
• Manage expectations and resolve concerns professionally
• Track account activity and identify opportunities to improve the customer experience

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in account management, customer success, client services, relationship management, or a similar customer-facing role
• Experience working with business customers or clients
• Strong communication, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
• Comfortable discussing technology and business needs
• Professional, confident, and personable communication style
• Willingness to learn and grow within an MSP environment

MSP or IT experience is a plus, but not required. You don't need to be highly technical-you do need to be comfortable learning technology and communicating with both customers and technical professionals.

We're looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through, stays organized, asks questions, builds genuine relationships, and handles difficult conversations professionally.
