Full-time Permanent Position with Benefits

A growing Youngstown, Ohio area manufacturing company seeks experienced CNC Lathe Operator who is able to Set-Up and Operate Horizontal and Vertical CNC Lathes Machines. Candidates must be experienced in turning, drilling, boring, facing, threading and grinding.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED, CNC Machinist Training Certificate / Diploma with a minimum of (4) years of hands-on experience setting-up and operating vertical and horizontal CNC Lathes.
• Read and understand blueprints technical drawings and blueprints, able to hold machining tolerances to.001"
• Able to utilize measuring tools: tape measure, micrometers, and calipers
• Calculate using fractions and decimals
• Experienced with a 4 jaw chuck set-up is preferred
• SET-UP & Operate CNC Lathes, able to identify speeds and feeds for different alloys.
• Ability to use Conversational Programming
• Capable of selecting the correct Cutting Tools
• Familiar with cutting tools, applications and uses; and other tools associated with CNC
• Lath equipment and machining work.
