Schedule & Hours (Fixed)

We are currently seeking a dependable candidate for our team. The schedule consists of 35 fixed hours per week :

• Monday-Friday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Job Summary

As a Kennel Technician/Canine Concierge , you will play a vital role in day-to-day operations. You’ll manage feeding schedules, support client check-ins and check-outs, maintain a clean and safe facility, and lead playgroups to give our canine guests top-tier love and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Care & Feeding: Prepare meals, distribute fresh water, administer baths when needed, and shower our dog guests with affection.
• Group Play Supervision: Monitor indoor and outdoor group play sessions to ensure safe, balanced, and peaceful interactions among dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
• Facility Maintenance: Clean and sanitize indoor guest suites, common areas, and outdoor yards to uphold our high standards of hygiene.
• Client Relations: Assist owners during customer check-in and check-out times, delivering welcoming service.
• Facility Safety & Operations: Promptly address messes, manage daily task flow, and navigate multi-level spaces efficiently.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience in canine behavior, veterinary care, or professional kennel/shelter settings is strongly preferred .
• Physical Stamina: Comfortably work on your feet, frequently climb stairs, and lift up to ~50 lbs.
• All-Weather Resilience: Comfortable managing outdoor play and yard duties in all types of Iowa weather conditions.
• Dog Handling Confidence: Comfortable and composed handling groups of active, energetic dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Transportation Requirement: Because of our rural Solon location, a reliable personal vehicle is required .
