We are hiring for:Employee Development SpecialistType:RegularIf you are a positive and personable individual looking for a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with intellectual, developmental disabilities, and people facing mental health, and substance use challenges, join our team at RHA Health Services!To provide and coordinate training and programs at the facility; to ensure that State, Federal, and facility standards are met and to upgrade the skills of all staff.Job Responsibilities:Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training to be used toward advance training for employees in the form of workshops, seminars, and/or courseworkAssesses, in cooperation with other staff, the training needs of staff at all levels within the facilityPrepares written reports and provides for testing of employees enrolled in coursesEnsures that required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required. Provides training and the coordination of training for all staffIdentifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required trainingAll other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:BA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years’ experience working in IDDPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
