BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.
Position Details:
Location: Winter Haven Hospital - Winter Haven, FL
Status: Full-time
Shift: Varies with weekends (2 on 1 off)
Responsibilities
Responsible for the preparation of foods according to the standardized recipes, and production methods.
Ensures high quality using safe, sanitary food handling techniques during preparation, service and storage and daily quality control checks.
Works multiple production stations and conducts quality control checks on taste, temperature and presentation on patient, cafeteria, and catering foods.
Trains and orients selected staff on food production along with safety and sanitation practices.
Leads production in absence of Executive Chef according to facility.
Performs other duties as necessary.

Experience
Required : 4 years as a Cook / 2 years with high school Diploma or Culinary Diploma
Preferred : 2 years in Healthcare
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certification
- Required : ServSafe Manager food safety certification within 1 year of hire.
