Speech Language Pathologist

Position Overview Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Goddard, KS 67052 Setting: Public High School Employment Type: Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM Student Day: 7:35 AM – 2:50 PM School Year: Full 2026–2027 School Year Responsibilities Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 40 high school students Support a low-incidence program serving students with mixed abilities and life skills needs Focus primarily on functional communication, with a smaller group of students receiving language and articulation services Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Complete documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Kansas SLP license (or ability to obtain before the start date) Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Compensation $48–$52 per hour, based on experience Benefits & Perks Weekly pay Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) options Dedicated recruiter support Opportunity to interview onsite or virtually Join a welcoming school community where you'll work in one building, enjoy a consistent schedule, and make a lasting difference in students' lives every day.
