Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical with Telemetry registered nurse (RN) position located in the healthcare organizations short-term acute care facility. The role involves providing high-quality patient care in medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units, with floating responsibilities across these units as needed. The position is scheduled for night shifts, starting October 5, 2026, for an anticipated duration through January 4, 2027. Job Details Location: Short Term Acute Care facility Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory. Infusion therapy skills including IV start, management, and central line care are essential. Experience and Education: Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units is required. Valid license to practice in the state is necessary at the time of submission. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Unit Details: Floating to medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro units; ability to float within scope. Additional Requirements: Must have at least 2 years of RN experience, and good charting experience with the community hospital system. Nurses will participate in a comprehensive orientation of 36 hours and must pass compliance deadlines including certifications and modules before start date. Special Considerations: The position requires utilizing lift devices, ceiling lifts, and bladder scanner training, with responsibilities involving patients with a variety of diagnoses including CVA and post-surgical cases. RTO and License Restrictions: No more than 7 days of RTO allowed; local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted. Other Details: Certs are to be current; open to first-time travelers with the required experience; will float to various units based on operational needs.
