AcroBlue Staffing is hiring a Laboratory Technician II to support a fast-paced laboratory focused on drinking water treatment systems. This role offers hands-on experience in testing, sample preparation, and exposure-based lab work, with opportunities to grow into more advanced technical functions.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform sample preparation, distribution, and tracking
• Maintain accurate records and data within lab systems
• Follow all quality control and safety procedures
• Work with chemicals, solvents, acids, and bases safely
• Support testing processes for drinking water treatment systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment
• Assist with SOP development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Cross-train across lab functions to support workflow demands
• Apply coatings for exposure testing as a backup to the Coatings Specialist

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced lab environment
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry)
• Strong communication skills and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in a science-related field
• Experience working in a laboratory setting
• Familiarity with quality control procedures
• Experience applying industrial coatings (internship, lab work, or previous role preferred)
• Experience handling liquids or using syringes for precise measurements

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Fast-paced, hands-on laboratory setting
• Standing for extended periods
• Lifting up to 20 lbs (or more with assistance)
• Handling chemicals and wearing required PPE (safety glasses)
