Medical Office Assistant

Now Hiring: Medical Office Assistant (Pediatrics)

We’re looking for a friendly, organized, and adaptable Medical Office Assistant to join our busy pediatric practice. In this role, you’ll help create a smooth, positive experience for children and their families while supporting daily office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and assist patients and families with professionalism and care

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments

• Maintain accurate patient records and data entry

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone

• Coordinate patient flow and support efficient daily operations

• Communicate effectively with clinical and office staff

• Assist with rooming patients and collecting basic intake information

• Perform vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure) as needed

• Prepare and clean exam rooms and maintain proper supplies

• Support providers with basic clinical tasks

• Float between duties to support team needs

Qualifications

• MA Diploma, CNA License, or EMT Certification required

• Previous medical or pediatric office experience preferred

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working with children and families

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stamford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
