Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel OT. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients in a skilled nursing facility in Fredericksburg, VA regain or improve their daily skills following injuries, illnesses, or disabilities while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required. Experience working in skilled nursing or long-term care settings preferred. Clinical experience evaluating and treating adult and geriatric diagnoses preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with restorative programs and ADL training preferred. Familiarity with documentation systems used in skilled nursing facilities preferred. Assignment Details Shift Hours: 0800-1630. Work Pattern: 5x8. Schedule includes coverage Monday through Friday. Expected guaranteed hours: 35 per week.
