Surgical Skills Lab Technician - Sports Medicine

Maintains an up-to-date inventory of equipment and supplies and coordinates deliveries/returns for education events. Cleans or assists in the cleaning of technical equipment through established protocols and/or instrumentation Instructions For Use. Orders and receives specimens, supplies, and equipment for all events. Maintains a presence in specified events, assisting faculty and learners with equipment, supply, and basic A/V needs. Communicates Surgical Skills Lab and specimen prover policies to faculty and learners. Prepares cadaver specimens for teaching purposes. Responsible for clean-up after events according to established procedures. Coordinates additional/special request cleaning of spaces with the housekeeping manager. Some administrative duties as assigned Work hours vary to include some early morning, evening, and Saturday events. The successful candidate will assist the Associate director in day to day responsibilities in the Surgical Skills Lab, a world class surgical education and research space. Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Required Experience: Years of relevant experience required: 4 years of relevant experience. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
