School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Antioch, California

Your essential qualifications:

• Active California OT or COTA license required
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
• Comfortable working with elementary-aged students with a variety of needs
• Adaptable to multiple environmentsschools, home health, teletherapy, and healthcare settings
• Strong communicator (written and verbal) for diverse collaboration with families and educational teams
• Commitment to excellence and fostering student independence

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled OT assessments, interventions, and individualized education plan (IEP) support for elementary school caseloads
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop tailored strategies enhancing students daily living and academic skills
• Serve five school sites, traveling between locations as needed within the district
• Participate in required documentation, meetings, and reporting to monitor progress and compliance
• Utilize teletherapy platforms as necessary to ensure continuity of services
• Complete onboarding requirements as required by the district, including signing a contract and possible fingerprinting prior to start
