If you're a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and making a measurable impact, this Fund Accountant role could be your next career move.What's the job?Manage daily fund accounting activities, including reconciliation of accounts, values and transactionsReview fund fees, expenses, investor activity and NAV calculationsPartner with third-party administrators and trading managers to ensure accurate financial reportingLead investment allocation processes across multiple fund structuresReview annual audited financial statements and coordinate with external auditorsSupport annual tax reporting processes with third-party tax providersOversee cash movements, margin calls, capital activity and investor servicing functionsAssist with foreign exchange and currency hedging activitiesCompile and deliver reports for investors and internal stakeholdersSupport regulatory filings and compliance initiativesIdentify opportunities for automation, process improvement and risk mitigationParticipate in strategic projects, including new fund launches and fee structure implementationWhat's needed?Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance0-4 years of accounting, fund accounting or investment operations experienceCPA preferred but not requiredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsExperience with SQL and/or Power BI is a plusExperience utilizing AI tools to automate processes is a plusStrong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentTeam-first mentality with a willingness to contribute wherever neededKey DetailsCompensation: $65,000-$90,000 annually + eligibility to earn a bonusBenefits: Health, dental and vision insurance; 401(k); profit sharingLocation: Warrenville, ILWork Model: HybridPosition Type: Direct HireIf you're looking for a Fund Accountant opportunity where your expertise will directly contribute to the success of a high-performing investment organization, we'd love to hear from you.
