Responsibilities What You'll Do Will buy and administer purchase orders for various V2X Programs within the United States region, which may involve both foreign and domestic subcontractors. This position will execute and administer various types of Purchase Orders (POs) through close-out, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures, legal guidelines, FAR/DFARS clauses, and customer requirements. Work on complex procurement matters in both domestic and contingency locations and provide Program Management with contractual guidance while exercising sound ethical and professional judgment within a broadly defined best practice and written policy structure. Responsible for protecting the legal and financial interests of V2X during all discussions and interactions with customers and suppliers. Drafts Request for Quotes, determines price reasonableness, leads negotiation efforts with suppliers, and reviews and interprets clauses, PO modifications, agreements, and other legal documents as required. Supports all internal and external audits. Operates under the functional guidance of the Supply Chain organization and Corporate Purchasing Manual, while coordinating closely with other functional departments. Key Responsibilities Purchasing of primarily services, and materials/supplies in support of the program. Responsible for the total procurement process – sourcing through closure of purchase order, to include thorough documentation. Purchases a variety of services, materials, and supplies. Reviews purchase requisitions and places orders with approved suppliers. Evaluates bids, selects and recommends suppliers, negotiates price, delivery, quality, and service. Follows up on all awards until completion of the order. Works with Accounts Payable as needed, resolving issues related to suppliers' invoices. Responsible for all documentation associated with a purchase, as required by government and company policies. Performs other duties assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. Experience: Minimum of four (4) years' purchasing experience. Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DoD FAR Supplement, and other departmental supplements. Other Requirements: Overtime may be required. Citizenship. Desired Qualifications Sales and data analytics experience is a plus. Skills and Technology Used Analytics Thinking & Problem Solving: Adaptability to changing business needs and requirements. Possesses critical thinking skills to synthesize scenarios and diverse perspectives in problem solving. Business/Procurement Acumen: Working knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and material management processes. Proficiency with FAR requirements and Government contracting. Experience in establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers who provide materials and services to the US Navy, Air Force, or government customers and are aligned with the company's needs. Proficiency with SAP software to report and place purchase orders, plans, and requests. Ability to maintain strict compliance with V2X policies and procedures relating to our Business Ethics and Code of Conduct, in addition to specific procurement regulations established by the federal Government. Demonstrates the highest degree of safeguarding confidential, employee, and business data, including company proprietary data. Business Partner/Effective Communication: An excellent communicator, both orally and in writing, with the ability to exchange information and interface effectively with suppliers, is required. Able to present financial information clearly and concisely. Well-organized with an attention to detail. Work quickly and efficiently; remain flexible to shifting priorities. May work under time pressures. Able to work in a dynamic organization by balancing multiple priorities. Keen sense of prioritization with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, complex, and scaling environment. Collaboration and Teamwork/Influence: Able to work collaboratively in a team environment. Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and retains constructive working relationships within the group. Global vision. Culturally sensitive. Ability to work with diverse cultures and teams. Software: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, SharePoint, SAP or related ERP software. The successful candidate's starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job‑related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company. USD $ 50,000 - 90,000.
