Job Title : Dialysis Registered Nurse. This role provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in‑center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team, ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes for every patient. Schedule : Full‑time, three 12‑hour shifts starting at 5 am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts. Compensation : Pay ranges from $31.00–$41.66 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience. Benefits : Paid 12‑week training with preceptor Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits Life and long‑term disability insurance at no additional expense Paid time off (PTO), including holidays Extended Sick Bank (ESB) for doctor appointments, sickness, or medical leave Retirement plans with 50¢ of each contributed dollar matched for eligible employees, up to 8 percent Education reimbursement Employee assistance program Wellness program Other benefits available Responsibilities Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families Administer and chart all prescribed medications Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews Document required patient education efforts Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals Assist in medication inventory maintenance Lead a small patient care team Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed Perform additional tasks as requested Qualifications Excellent communication skills Demonstrated clinical excellence Desire to collaborate with care teams Ability to problem‑solve Education/Training : Accredited nursing degree required Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available DCI provides 3‑months of comprehensive training including classroom sessions and one‑on‑one skills training New graduates encouraged to apply DCI is a federal contractor and an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer—Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities.
