Job Description

Under the general direction of the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the SLP Clinician diagnoses and treats communication and swallowing disorders in patients. The SLP Clinician will work collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.

Setting & Population Served

Providence St. Mary Medical Center facilities operate as a rural community hospital that provide:

• Medical and Surgical Units
• Intensive Care Unit
• Inpatient Rehab Facility CARF certified 8 bed unit
• Emergency and Same Day Surgery
• A diverse patient population including individuals with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs

As a therapy professional, you will help patients achieve functional progress and improve quality of life within a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Wage Range: $43.64 - $67.74 DOE

Shift Details: Per diem/On-call, Day shift

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Speech Language Pathology experience.
