About the Position

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours (15:00 - 23:30) Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Certification from either CBSPD or CRCST is accepted. Certifications: CBSPD IAHCSMM/HSPA Must-Have: Experience with Medivator systems is required. Experience in all areas of sterile processing, including decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and tracking systems. Description: We are seeking experienced candidates for the Sterile Processing Tech position. Candidates should be familiar with the decontamination of all items, including drills, robotic surgery systems, and scopes. Experience in the assembly of instruments across various service lines, including trauma and surgery, is essential. Knowledge of sterilization processes, including both Sterrad and steam methods, is required. High-Level Disinfection (HLD) experience is a must. Familiarity with sterile storage and liaison experience with operating rooms is preferred. Experience with the Censitrac tracking system is advantageous. Candidates should be capable of working in a high-volume environment. The role requires collaboration across multiple sites to ensure the availability of sterilized instrumentation. The candidate will help standardize instrument trays and maintain liaisons between departments. The position may require floating between locations as needed. Proficiency in aseptic techniques and proper sterilization practices is expected. Candidates should successfully complete all credentialing requirements promptly upon contract signing.
