Schedule: Full-Time and Part-Time
Position Overview:
Corona Norco Unified School District is seeking an experienced and compassionate paraprofessional to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other behavioral needs. This position focuses on delivering direct behavioral support in school settings while collaborating closely with special education staff and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct 1:1 and small group behavioral support to students
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) with fidelity
Utilize evidence-based behavior strategies, including ABA techniques
Collect, record, and report data on student behavior and progress
Support students with communication, social skills, and adaptive functioning
Assist in maintaining a structured, positive, and safe learning environment
Utilize visual supports, schedules, and de-escalation strategies
Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff to ensure consistency in programming
Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
Caseload:
Varies based on student needs
Includes 1:1 and small group support assignments
