Production Management work encompasses managing/coordinating teams and processes across multiple manufacturing areas including:

• Production Engineering / Manufacturing Process Development
• Production Operations :
• Operating manufacturing packaging equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes(i.e., assembly, processing, treating, packaging, etc.) 
• Maintenance of the sterility of the product. Understanding the sterilization processes. Sterilization of the product
• Production Planning/Control.

A Team Leader supervises professional level employees (typically entry or experienced level) and may also supervise some para-professional employees.
Responsibilities typically include:
• Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
• Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers and stakeholders.
