BUSINESS ANALYST
Job Summary:
As a
Business Analyst
you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. Youa€ll be responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the development and implementation of effective solutions. Your work will help drive strategic initiatives, operational efficiency, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and challenges.
Elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements using interviews, workshops, and use case analysis.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
Work closely with developers, QA, and product managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
Analyze existing systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and solution validation.
Create process models, data flow diagrams, and workflow charts as needed.
Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders clearly and regularly.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelora€s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
3a€5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in energy, utilities, or tech driven industries.
Strong understanding of business process modeling, requirement elicitation, and documentation techniques.
Proficient with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the energy/utilitya€s domain or with renewable energy projects.
Knowledge of SQL, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance in the energy sector.
Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, etc.) are a plus.
