Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves providing specialized perioperative care within the operating suite, supporting a variety of surgical procedures in a Level II Trauma Center. The position requires a highly skilled healthcare professional able to operate effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid state license, minimum of 20 years of operating room experience, at least 1 year of recent OR experience, current ACLS, BLS, and CNOR certifications, and travel experience is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, robotic (Xi & DV5) procedures, and advanced surgical skills.
- Additional Information: The role involves working in a busy Level II Trauma Center with a daily census of 25 patients and 14 rooms. Candidates must be flexible to work during the specified weekend schedule and willing to float between units if necessary. Candidates must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays and are expected to complete required modules prior to start.
