Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - Operating Room to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in an operating room setting, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesia providers during pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
• Utilize and manage advanced surgical equipment, including Da Vinci Xi Surgical Systems.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in the EPIC charting system.
• Assist with emergency situations using established protocols and maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss and improve patient care processes.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact license in hand at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience with focus on trauma and robotic surgeries.
• Proven expertise in Ortho, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma departments.
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS required; CNOR preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment and manage patient care for Level II trauma patients.
• Prior travel nursing experience and ability to commit to weekend block schedules.
