TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Lubbock, Texas, 79410!

Job Opportunity – Pediatric Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: December 2026

Location: West Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with 1:3-5 patient ratios; weekend requirement of 5 shifts per 6-week period; on-call based on unit census; float between units as needed within scope of practice

Highlights:

• Work at a 181-bed children's hospital and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
• 12-month assignment with 12 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system experience required
• Pediatric patient population including infants, children, and adolescents with average daily census of 27
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, physical therapy, and more
• Free parking and bike rack facilities available

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Skills required: BiPAP/CPAP management, central line care, oxygen delivery systems, isolation precautions/PPE, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, pediatric med-surg, hyperbilirubinemia management, breastfeeding support, and various feeding methods
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
