Location: Near Charlotte, North Carolina Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: President About Us We are partnering with a growing and dynamic organization seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead their accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong internal controls, driving process improvements, and leveraging NetSuite ERP to optimize financial operations. Position Overview The Financial Controller will oversee all accounting activities, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate accounting, team leadership, and hands‑on expertise with NetSuite ERP . This individual will play a critical role in scaling finance processes and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and present financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis. Partner with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations that support business growth. Manage external audits and coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and reporting requirements. Optimize and maintain NetSuite ERP , including financial modules, reporting capabilities, workflows, and process improvements. Develop financial dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools within NetSuite. Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members. Support system implementations, integrations, and finance transformation initiatives. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or Senior Accounting leadership role. Strong hands‑on experience with NetSuite ERP in a multi‑entity or growing business environment. Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience managing month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and audits. Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification. Experience in private equity‑backed, high‑growth, manufacturing, distribution, SaaS, or multi‑location organizations. Experience with ERP implementations, integrations, and process automation initiatives. Familiarity with financial consolidations and multi‑currency accounting. #J-18808-Ljbffr
