Endoscopy Nurse Position At Inova Alexandria Hospital

Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for a full-time Endoscopy Nurse to work 4x10 shifts/week with rotating weekend and holiday call.

Schedule- 4x10 shifts per week, 7a-5.30p; rotating days with on call requirements: weekends (Sat and Sun 8a-6p) every 5 weeks, rotating holiday call.

Full range of Endoscopy services including Heartburn Treatment.

RN Endoscopy Qualifications:

• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse- One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
• Education-Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, Complete BSN within 5 years of start date

RN Endoscopy preferred qualifications:

• RN with at least 2 years of GI/Endoscopy- (Pre-Op, Intra-Op and Post-op experience) or critical care nursing experience (ICU or ED).
