Beacon Hill is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing organization. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with financial reporting and variance analysis
Help maintain accurate financial records and support audit requests
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and reporting of transactions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1-5 years of general accounting experience
Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles
Strong Excel skills and comfort with accounting systems/ERPs
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
