Job Type: Full-Time, W2 Position

Compensation: $28.00 - $31.00 / Hour (Commensurate with experience) + Performance Incentives/Bonuses

About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, driven HVAC Service & Installation Technician with a minimum of 2 years of field experience.

This role offers a unique, highly valuable full cross-training program between advanced diagnostic service and high-quality system installation. Key Responsibilities

• System Diagnostics & Repair: Efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems to factory specifications.

• Precision Installations: Perform clean, code-compliant installations and changeouts of split systems, furnaces, and package units.

• Multimedia System Proficiency: Actively service and install AC units, gas furnaces, Rooftop Units (RTUs), heat pumps, and modern ductless mini-splits.

• Consultative Client Communication: Provide exceptional customer service by clearly explaining system health, diagnostic findings, and tailored repair or replacement options to homeowners.

• Technical Compliance: Meticulously read and follow written electrical schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to ensure peak system airflow and performance.

Qualifications & Job Requirements

• Field Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience within the residential or light commercial HVAC trade.

• Technical Literacy: A proven mechanical track record with a strong foundational understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, and gas piping.

• Mandatory EPA Certification: Must hold a current EPA Universal (or Type II) Certification for safe refrigerant handling.

• Preferred Credentials: Current or prior NATE Certification is highly preferred (and will command a premium pay tier).

• Client-Facing Professionalism: Outstanding attention to detail, strong verbal communication skills, and comfort interacting politely with residential clients.

• Safety & Mobility: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean, insurable driving record to operate a company service vehicle safely.
