What You’ll Be Doing Helping patients with daily activities and providing direct care under the supervision of nursing staff Keeping the environment supportive, safe, and positive for everyone Performing a variety of duties, from clerical tasks to clinical support—no two days are the same Using your skills and compassion to help patients feel at ease and supported Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Must obtain BCLS certification within 120 days of hire and keep it current for continued employment Clearance through the Family Care Registry Completion of training as directed through orientation and/or by leadership, management, or educators within the established timeline Department orientation with classroom and clinical training equivalent to UAP regulations—or meet specific background criteria as listed below Training requirements can be waived if the employee demonstrates competency in required content areas Must Meet One Of The Following Enrolled in a professional or practical nursing program and completed a fundamentals of nursing course Was a nursing licensure candidate who failed to pass the state licensure exam in the past 3 years Certified as a nursing assistant per state regulation Certified or trained in UAP curriculum Has documented experience as a nurse assistant, EMT, or surgical technician in the past 3 years Completed UAP training in Missouri within the last 3 years Completed a professional or practical nursing program outside the U.S. and is awaiting licensure in the country UAPs from staffing agencies must comply with training requirements Preferred Qualifications Experience in patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ambulation, feeding, etc.) Previous mental health experience BCLS certification Why You’ll Love Working With Us A supportive, fun, and collaborative team Opportunities for career growth and development A positive and welcoming work environment where you can truly make a difference If you’re ready to provide compassionate care and be part of a dynamic team, we want to hear from you.
