Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Travel RN – Wisconsin

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730), day and night rotation, every other weekend, some holidays, no call

Highlights:

• 27-bed Cardiovascular and Cardiothoracic ICU specializing in CABG, valve repair/replacement, heart and lung transplant, LVAD, and cardiac medical patients
• Dynamic acuity-adaptable unit with 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratios depending on acuity; 24 hours of orientation provided
• Epic charting system; Level I Trauma experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Work within a Magnet-designated facility recognized as a leading teaching and referral center
• Telemetry competency exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Wisconsin or compact state)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of acute care CVICU experience within the last 3 years
• Previous travel experience required
• Experience and knowledge of NxStage CVVH/CRRT machine required
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery patients directly from OR preferred
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required
• Must pass telemetry exam with 100% identification of lethal rhythms and 80% overall score
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Floating to other units as needed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
