Intake Coordinator

Houston Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is currently recruiting for a full-time Intake Coordinator for the night shift, 7pm - 7am, alternating weekends and 3 days per week.
Guides patient and families through the registration and admission process.
Referral Processing Answer and document incoming phone calls and patient walk-ins.
Communication Communicates with unit staff, manages bed board and escort patients to the unit.
Insurance Verification Verify patient insurance coverage, and eligibility.
Data Entry Enter accurate patient demographics, generate patient labels and review and ensures patients consents forms are completed accurately.
Property Manages patient property and ensures no contraband is sent to the unit.
Compliance Maintain strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA and state regulations
