Project Executive - Mission Critical Construction Overview This is a senior leadership role overseeing the successful delivery of multiple complex, technically driven construction projects across the mission critical space. You'll provide strategic oversight from early planning through commissioning and close‑out, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role sits above day‑to‑day project management – focusing on alignment, performance, client engagement, and overall project success across a portfolio. You’ll lead teams delivering high‑performance environments such as data centres, advanced infrastructure, and other technically complex facilities where uptime, coordination, and precision are critical. What you’ll be doing Project & Operational Leadership Overseeing multiple projects simultaneously across their full lifecycle Providing direction to Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams Ensuring alignment between schedule, budget, staffing, and delivery strategy Driving consistency and best practice across project execution Client & Stakeholder Management Acting as the primary executive contact for key clients Building and maintaining long‑term relationships Leading executive‑level meetings and project reviews Managing expectations around cost, risk, schedule, and delivery Commercial & Financial Oversight Monitoring project financial performance, forecasting, and risk Overseeing budgets, contracts, and change management Ensuring projects meet profitability and commercial targets Preconstruction & Strategy Supporting pursuits, proposals, and client presentations Guiding conceptual budgeting, logistics, and constructability planning Engaging early with clients to shape delivery strategy Mission Critical / Technical Delivery Overseeing projects involving complex systems such as power, cooling, and infrastructure Ensuring successful coordination and commissioning of critical systems Driving a zero‑defect and high‑reliability approach to delivery Safety & Quality Leadership Championing a strong, proactive safety culture across all projects Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and internal standards Driving quality and consistency across all phases of delivery Team Leadership & Development Leading and mentoring Project Managers and senior project staff Supporting hiring, team structuring, and succession planning Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance Who they’re looking for 12‑15+ years’ experience in commercial construction Proven leadership across large‑scale, complex projects Experience within mission critical, data centre, healthcare, or highly technical environments preferred Strong commercial acumen (budgeting, contracts, forecasting) Track record managing multiple projects or a regional portfolio Strong understanding of MEP systems and technically driven scopes Confident client‑facing leadership and communication skills What stands out about the role Strategic leadership across multiple high‑value projects Involvement in both project delivery and business growth Exposure to technically complex, high‑performance environments Opportunity to shape team structure, processes, and project outcomes High level of autonomy with direct impact on project and business success #J-18808-Ljbffr LVI Associates
