Senior Director - New Customer Acquisition

POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr Director New Customer Acquisition is responsible for leading and scaling Newrez’s first‑time customer growth engine across paid, owned, earned, and partner channels. This role will lead the strategy, execution and optimization of multichannel acquisition programs with a focus on driving high‑quality demand, efficient conversion, and sustainable ROI. The Sr Director partners closely with Martech, Analytics, Product, Sales, and Technology teams to continuously improve segmentation, targeting, and funnel performance through data‑driven experimentation and performance optimization. New Customer Acquisition Strategy & Execution Develop, execute and optimize the enterprise new customer acquisition strategy across digital media, paid search, paid social, affiliates, partnerships, email/SMS nurture, and emerging channels. Lead funnel design, testing, and conversion rate optimization across all acquisition touchpoints. Identify new customer segments, market opportunities, and channel expansion opportunities. Own test and learn roadmaps, creative optimization cycles, and audience development plans. Support and manage partner programs to expand reach and accelerate customer growth. Team & Stakeholder Management Lead and develop a high-performing acquisition team including channel managers, strategists, and growth specialists. Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Technology, Data, and Analytics teams to align acquisition initiatives with broader business goals. Set clear performance objectives, manage budgets, and support professional development. Present acquisition performance, insights, and optimization recommendations to senior leadership. Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others. Performs related duties as assigned by management. Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in digital acquisition, performance marketing, or growth marketing. 3+ years of experience leading teams or complex cross‑functional initiatives. Demonstrated success scaling multichannel acquisition programs in a data‑driven environment. Experience managing agencies, partners, and sizable acquisition budgets. Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge Deep expertise in paid media channels, CRM‑based nurture, and audience targeting. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into acquisition strategy. Experience working with Martech and data platforms supporting acquisition programs. High learning agility and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong verbal communication skills; strong writing and composition abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization. Strong influencing and negotiation skills; consultative and collaborative work style. High learning agility with the ability to learn and integrate business variables and new systems and platforms. Effective at managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Strong project management capability. Self‑directed and comfortable working with ambiguity and uncertainty. High degree of professional maturity, integrity, and ability to maintain confidential data and information. Strong business acumen and technical aptitude. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Work Environment and Physical Requirements Working on‑site at assigned office location. Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership. Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand. Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations. Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time. Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls. Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures. All employees are required to have smartphones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Microsoft Authenticator.
