Job Description
Line Cooks play a crucial role in high-volume restaurant kitchens, working under the Head Chef to prepare and cook food efficiently during peak hours and weekends. They ensure quality and consistency while maintaining a clean and organized workspace to support smooth kitchen operations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications
- Cook food items in a timely manner to meet peak service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations
- Follow safety and sanitation standards to ensure food quality
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in kitchen or food preparation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food preparation knowledge and safe sanitation practices
- Strong time management and multitasking skills
- Proficient knife skills
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail
