Duties Provide professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages tailored to individual client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their concerns, medical history, and specific pain points Educate clients on the benefits of different massage modalities and recommend appropriate treatment plans Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and safety protocols Communicate effectively with clients to ensure comfort, address questions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement Keep detailed records of each session, including treatment notes, client preferences, and progress reports Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and relevant medical terminology to enhance service quality Experience Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Proven experience in providing a variety of massage therapies including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health massages Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess patient needs and tailor treatments accordingly Prior experience working in medical spas or similar healthcare settings preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and health concerns Experience managing pain relief or pain management cases is highly desirable Familiarity with medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health and occupational health issues Join us in delivering outstanding therapeutic experiences that foster relaxation, healing, and well-being! #J-18808-Ljbffr G Spa & Salon at Foxwoods
