Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Equipment Maintenance Specialist Company: The Boeing Company – Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA). Location: North Charleston, South Carolina. The candidate will work onsite on a 100% basis at one of the listed location options, on variable shifts including nights and weekends. Responsibilities • Perform maintenance on factory equipment. • Troubleshoot, analyze, inspect, disassemble, rebuild, modify, and test factory machinery and equipment using knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics. • Use and interpret advanced blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment. • Respond to requests for equipment repair. • Maintain and manage component and replacement part inventories. • Work under limited supervision. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of experience in equipment maintenance. 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprints, schematics). 1+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters. 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Willingness and ability to work a variable shift. Preferred Qualifications Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance. 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications. 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters, Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters. 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
