What You'll Be Engaging In

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health conditions, collaborating with physicians or independently as permitted
• Providing education to patients and families about wellness, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies within your professional scope
• Involving in patient follow-ups and chronic condition management
• Working alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery
• Documenting patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Utah
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or appropriate specialty equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or able to obtain within three months)
