Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer / Machine Operator – to join our team in North Canton Ohio. This role involves setting up and operating both CNC Mill and Lathe. May also include manual mill and lathe machines, with a focus on machining unique parts from Copper, Brass, Stainless or Mild Steel. You will work independently, handling setting up the machines and producing finished parts. Job Duties: - Set up and operate CNC and manual machines with minimal supervision. - Position and set up workpieces using cranes or manual methods to hold tolerances as close as .001”. - Apply appropriate speeds, feeds, and machining methods for different materials. - Write and edit CNC programs as needed. - Use precision measuring devices to ensure parts meet specifications. - Perform blocking and aligning of irregular-shaped parts. - CAM software programming - Assist in assembly as needed What you need to be successful: - High School Diploma or equivalent - 1+ years of experience in CNC set up and machining or CNC certification - 1+ years of experience with CAM programming Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with manual machining - Mastercam experience *Other duties as assigned. * Ajax Tocco Magnethermic provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
