Overview North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic is an 11‑year‑old nonprofit providing free legal services in domestic violence, housing, and immigration. The organization seeks an Operations & Administrative Manager to maintain systems so attorneys and advocates can focus on client service. Responsibilities Run daily office operations and vendor relationships Oversee accounts payable, billing, reconciliations, grant documentation, and audit preparation Coordinate IT support, systems access, and staff onboarding Manage reception, phone system, records, and front‑office coverage Supervise an Administrative Assistant Improve processes and maintain strong internal controls Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in operations, administration, or nonprofit management Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and cloud‑based systems Comfort handling confidential financial and personnel information Legal or grant‑funded environment experience a plus Salary and Benefits $70,000–$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience On‐site during normal business hours; hybrid work available with approval Generous vacation policy, paid time off, sick leave, and paid holidays Employer‑paid health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) EEO Statement NSLAC is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to provide equal employment opportunities in all employment practices.
